Efficient & professional service
I have never used a currency service before so had more than a few questions all of which Jamie Brinkley answered in detail and provided all the information I could need. The whole process was very easy and straightforward with emails and text messages sent. We locked in a good rate and all money was transferred when requested. Any other team members I dealt with equally helpful. Would recommend.

What a pleasure it is dealing with a professional company
It was such a pleasure dealing with Excel Currencies – and, in particular, with Jamie Brinkley, who managed the exchange of our currency with a professionalism which is pretty rare these days. He provided the assurance that we needed when exchanging large amounts of money for the purchase of our home in France. What we also appreciated was Jamie’s quick response to any concerns that we had. We were never left on tenterhooks. Unlike other aspects of our move, which were constantly hindered by bureaucracy and a lack of concern for the client, Jamie helped enormously with our transition from the UK to France. The service that he, and his team, provided was/and is exemplary and I have no hesitation is recommending Excel Currencies - and, if you are fortunate to have Jamie and his team look after your account, you are in safe hands.

Honest and unambiguous guidance.
Having ventured into purchasing a retirement property abroad, my wife and I starting looking around in search of an honest, approachable and knowledgeable company to safeguard / ring fence our finances.
Having contacted 5/6 companies Liam kennedy of Excel Currencies reached out to us and to be honest he demonstrated everything we were searching for, the big one being trust and transparency of which Liam and his team orchestrated perfectly.
We have since moved large amounts of funds via Liam and Excel and are due to move more once the currency chosen hits our expectation.
We would have absolutely now hesitation in choosing Excel as they have demonstrated knowledge and understanding throughout our experience and that's why we will continue to use them for all our transactions going forward.

Trustworthy company
Excel Currency handled the exchange and transfer of funds for buying our property in Spain. We mostly dealt with Jamie, who was very efficient, friendly and made the process very easy for us. Communication was always prompt and we were kept well informed at all times. Our experience was first class and stress free. I wouldn't hesitate using Excel again.

Jamie and the team are professional, informed and responsive. For most of us buying an overseas property is a once in a lifetime experience. Having a trusted and experienced advisor on this significant purchase removed most of the uncertainty and stress from the process. Trustworthy, personal service at realistic value.
Chris from Excel Currencies has been my currency converter for quite a few years now. Back in 2008 when I started working abroad, I was used to always having to check rates at multiple places to ensure I was getting the best value in each exchange. Since meeting Chris and experiencing his level of service, and the value he brings to my business, I now no longer feel the need to check against other suppliers, as he has invariably been my best option and I have complete trust in him to do the best for me and my company, Woodpecker UK Ltd. Excel currencies didn't ask me to write this, but I came to Trust Pilot for another reason and happened to notice the trustpilot logo mentioned on one of their emails so just thought I'd share my experience and help others make informed choices and feel confident when making FX transactions.

Combine this with our ability to make funds available on the very same day that you secure your rate and we give you a process that is quicker and cheaper than ever before. There will be times when a customer will want to send multiple payments, and this is when a charge may be applied. My tip is centred around Euro payments and the fact that although regular payments take 24-48hrs, the majority of these clear within 24hrs.

They say it’s a headache having to constantly keep an eye on where the rate has moved and the biggest disappointment comes from customers who missed out when the rate was high. My tip is you should either place an order to buy at the rate you want or at the very least setup a rate alert so you can be notified when your desired rate has been reached.
